Fall leaves to back to blue
Fall leaves pile up fast. On this weekly visit we netted out the leaves, emptied the leaf canister and checked the pump and filter for leaks, so the water stays clear between visits. Pool service in El Dorado Hills →

Monthly Pool Service
FAQ
Common questions.
How much does monthly pool service cost?
Chemical-only service starts at $120 per month and includes all chemicals, water testing and balancing, an equipment check, and emptying the skimmer basket every visit. Full service starts at $155 per month and adds brushing the walls and steps, skimming the surface, vacuuming the pool floor, emptying all baskets and cleaner bags, cleaning the filter twice a year, and cleaning the salt cell on salt pools. Your exact price is confirmed up front, with no surprises. See our full pool service cost guide.
Tired of extra little fees from your pool company?
You are not alone. A lot of pool companies quote a low monthly rate, then tack on fuel surcharges, chemical upcharges, filter cleaning fees, and other little charges. We don’t. With our full service, your monthly price covers the chemicals, weekly skimming, brushing, and vacuuming, emptying all baskets and cleaner bags, a filter clean twice a year, and salt cell cleaning. The only time you will ever pay extra is if something needs to be repaired, and you will know the price before we do the work. No surprise charges, just a clean pool and the same bill every month. That is what makes The Goods different.
What’s the difference between chemical-only and full service?
Chemical-only ($120/month and up) includes all chemicals, weekly water testing and balancing, an equipment check, emptying the skimmer basket, and a visit report after every visit. Full service ($155/month and up) includes everything in chemical-only, plus brushing the walls and steps, skimming the surface, vacuuming the pool floor, emptying all baskets and cleaner bags, cleaning the filter twice a year, and cleaning the salt cell on salt pools.
How often do you visit?
Weekly. Regular weekly visits keep chemistry stable and stop algae from getting a foothold, especially during hot Sacramento-area summers. Hiring for the first time? Here are 12 questions to ask any pool company.
How soon can service start?
Usually the same week you approve your quote. Call or text 916-534-0561 to get on the schedule.
Do you service salt water pools?
Yes. Salt cell cleaning is included free with full service. Chemical-only and one-time customers pay $65 per cleaning. See our salt water pool service page.
